My love of Disney will be taking a new turn soon. I cannot wait to tell everyone about it. But in the meantime I can tell you how my plans for my surprise trip for my daughter are coming along.
Ever since we left Disney last May, my 5 year old daughter has been wanting to go back. (I'm so glad she takes after her mother.) So I decided that I would save all the money that I make and anything extra I can come across and put that towards our next Disney vacation. I wanted to make this next trip extra special, so we aren't telling her until she steps off the bus on Friday before we leave to head down to the hotel at the airport. Our trip isn't until the end of September, so I still have a little more time to save up. Plus, I wanted to see Disney decorated for fall and attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Nothing like being able to Trick or Treat with your favorite Disney characters!
We will be staying in a Royal Room at the Port Orleans Riverside resort. This is my first time staying here. The last three times I have stayed on property has been in value resorts. Yes, I did decide to splurge a little this time but just look at this resort! It's beautiful and the Southern Mansions remind me of Gone With The Wind. Without any specials my portion of our trip is $3200 and I've already paid $500 towards it just from all the GPT (Get Paid To) sites that I do. I'm getting ready to make another payment of $350. I won't find out until later this spring if there is going to be any specials or discounts this fall.
Since this trip is all for my little girl, I thought it would be fitting for her to stay in one of the Royal Rooms. They are very fitting for a princess. I know she is going to be very excited especially when she sees the welcome letter from Princess Tiana.
So that is where I am with our plans so far. I am still trying to decide all the Table service meals to have. Since I have included the Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining plan, I want to try and include several character meals as possible. I have until the end of March to make my selections. So many to chose from, it's a very hard decision.
